This table is constructed from American white oak with
a forged steel frame. The frame is made from 20mm x 25mm cross bars and the
legs are 30mm x 40mm. As can be seen from the picture there is a recessed box
in the centre of the table to display any of your unusual and interesting items.
(note the pieces of stone are not included with the table but are for display
purposes
only). The internal size of the display box is approximatly 500mm x 240mm x
110mm deep.
The table top is approximatly 40mm thick with a subtle rounding to the edge.
The toughened glass top is set in a small rebate to allow the surface to be
flush with the table top.
This is the detail of the corner joint and shows the method of riveting the
bars together. The overall size of this table is 1,040mm x 1,650mm.
The
forged steel frame is finished in a clear wax and and has a shiny black appearance.
This table is extremly heavy and is supplied with the oak discs to place the
legs on to avoid scratching wooden floors, stone floors and compressing carpets.
